Rooted in honesty and observation, Terrain is a distilled collection of undyed, flat woven Moroccan rugs that pays homage to the unadorned beauty of wool and landscape—and presents the first collaboration between FRAMA and Beni. 

Available in three organic variations, each quiet tone draws its pure pigment directly from the High Atlas Mountain sheep that was sheared to achieve it. The lightest hue in the Terrain series, Salt is a meditative reflection of nature’s inexplicable ability to calm the senses and restore balance—adaptable and serene in tone. 

The pure pigment of this live heritage wool is entirely natural, born only from the High Atlas Mountain sheep from which it was sheared. Each rug features traditional braided tassels. Considering the nature of authentic Moroccan rugs, you can expect slight variations of color and fiber in the rug that you receive. These are markers of a product made wholly by hand with each craftsperson’s touch interwoven into the final design. Made to order, each and every Beni x FRAMA rug is woven entirely by hand and then washed and dried in the mountain air.
